Camren Larsen
May 27, 1987 - October 29, 2014
Camren Jay Larsen, our brother, son, and friend passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Wednesday, October 29, 2014. He was young, only 27 years old, but had accomplished so much and touched so many lives. He was born May 27, 1987 in Orem, Utah. Camren started his schooling at Meadowlark Elementary in Salt Lake City; he finished his elementary career at Wasatch Elementary in Provo. He attended and graduated from Farrer Jr. High and Provo High School. Cam attended Utah Valley University for two and a half years, and was set to attend BYU this winter. His education outside of the classroom was passionate and thorough. He played many instruments including the trumpet as a young man, bass guitar, and over the last year taught himself to play the drums wonderfully. He was always learning and exploring. He was artistic; he created and enjoyed beauty in many ways through camping, hiking, rebuilding motorcycles, and with his various forms of visual arts. He had a great sense of humor and lived life to the fullest. He was extremely dedicated and hardworking throughout his life. He worked at Property Solutions for the past two years. He served the people of Brazil on a Mormon mission from 2008-2010 and was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was a great son and friend and was loved by all who knew him. He will be sorely missed. He is survived by his mother, Robin Boyack Lott, father, Jay R. Larsen, stepfather, Thomas Lott, and his siblings: Preston Larsen, Jenni Larsen, Cali Lott, Sydney Lott, Brittany Lott Turley, Ravell Lott, Zachary Lott, Camille Lott Bennett, and Melissa Lott McDonald. His grandparents Ralph E. Boyack, Rowene Dorgan Boyack, Reuben D. Larsen, and Edith Jones Larsen preceded him in death. Services will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014, 11:00 AM at the Oak Hills LDS Stake Center, 925 E. North Temple Drive, Provo, UT (across the street to the north of the Provo LDS Temple). The viewing will be 9:30 to 10:30 AM on the day of the funeral. All friends are welcome to come and celebrate his life with us.
