Emilio A. Cordero passed away on January 26, 2022 at the age of 17. Emilio A. Cordero was born in Provo, Utah to Gerardo and Abi Cordero on January 10, 2005. Emilio was a loving son, a caring brother, and loyal friend. He made a place for everyone in his heart and sought out the best in them. Emilio’s had an old soul since the beginning. He could talk to anyone of any age with ease. His enthusiasm for music spread throughout his house like wildfire. He was incredibly intelligent, and his love of literature gave him a fantastic imagination and even better storytelling ability. His sense of humor was remarkable. His laugh was extremely infectious and you couldn’t get enough of it. Those that know him, knew he would never fail to talk about the best movie of all time, GhostBusters. Everywhere in his room you will see Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Emilio is survived by his parents, Gerardo and Abi Cordero; his brothers, Tito, Gigo, Diego, and Chelo Cordero. Mio will live on in our hearts and in our memories forever. Viewings will be held at Utah Valley Mortuary, 1966 West 700 North, Lindon, Utah on Monday, January 31st, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Tuesday, February 1st, from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 1st, at 12:00 noon, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 65 West 500 North, Orem, Utah, where a Rosary will be held prior to Mass at 11:00 am. _________ Emilio A. Emilio era un hijo amoroso, un hermano cariñoso y un amigo leal. Hizo un lugar para todos en su corazón y buscó lo mejor en ellos. Emilio siempre tuvo un alma vieja. Podía hablar con cualquier persona de cualquier edad con facilidad. Su entusiasmo por la música se extendió por toda su casa como la pólvora. Era increíblemente inteligente y su amor por la literatura le dio una imaginación fantástica e incluso una mejor habilidad para contar historias. Su sentido del humor era notable. En todas partes de su habitación verás Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. A Emilio le sobreviven sus padres, Gerardo y Abi Cordero; sus hermanos Tito, Guigo, Diego y Chelo Cordero. Las visitas se llevarán a cabo en Utah Valley Mortuary, 1966 West 700 North, Lindon, Utah, el Lunes 31 de Enero de 6:00 a 8:00 p. m. y el Martes 1ro de Febrero de 9:30 a 10:30 a. m. La misa de cuerpo presente se llevará a cabo el Martes 1ro de Febrero a las 12:00 del mediodía en la iglesia católica San Francisco de Asis, 65 West 500 North, Orem, Utah, donde se rezará un rosario antes de la misa a las 11:00 am.
