Evan Dean VanAusdal

April 22, 1964 - March 1, 2016

Evan Dean VanAusdal, 51, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2016 at Timpanogos Hospital from lung cancer, surrounded by his family. He was born April 22, 1964 to Dorothy Lafay Smith Gaisford and Richard Bruce VanAusdal in Provo, Utah. He grew up and attended school in Lehi, Utah. He served our country in the National Guard where he excelled in running and mechanics. He was a carpenter and siding installer for many years He loved collecting rocks and was a huge San Francisco 49ers fan. Evan is survived by his three daughters; Mandy VanAusdal, Kim (Ray) McGee, Brittney (Miguel) Espinosa; and two sons; Spencer and Chauncy Harrison. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; Ezrick, Corbin, Chelsea, Easton, Daygon, Breanna, Dario, Aaliyah, and Javier; his five sisters; Dixie (Joe) Davis, Vickie (Shawn) Williams, Bonnie (Dale) Baxter, Amy (Rob) Kerr and Anita Purdy; three step-sisters; Joy (John) Savage, Kathy (Scott) Miller, Pam (Jay) Walker and one step-brother; Roger (Karen) Gaisford, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by his mother, Dorothy, and step-father, Ray Gaisford. Private Services will be held by his family. Funeral Directors: Utah Valley Mortuary.
