Grant Steven Brock, 30, passed away January 16, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on March 10, 1990 to Cleve and Disa Brock in Walnut Creek, CA. He grew up in Bend, OR, a place he always called home. Grant was a man of admirable faith and an inspiration to those who knew him. He persevered through unique struggles and had a large capacity for love and joy. He served an LDS mission in Mozambique. He studied History at BYU and UVU in Utah where he met his wife and best friend, Tamara Carter. They married in the Sacramento, CA Temple in 2015. Grant lived big and loved big. He often said how much he loved his life. He was a brilliant musician and songwriter whose life and soul will live on through his songs and lyrics. He excelled at sports, particularly basketball. His zest and personality filled up every room he entered. He loved to gather all kinds of people, and to serve and include them throughout his life. He is survived by his spouse, Tamara; his parents, Cleve and Disa Brock; and his siblings, Dane, Tara, Lissa, Paige, and Ammon. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Oak Hills 6th Ward, 1960 North 1500 East, Provo, Utah, where a Viewing will be held prior to services from 10:15 to 10:45 am. A streaming link will be provided for online viewing of the service. Interment in East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, Provo, Utah.
