Mrs. Hilda Bernice Browne
March 25, 1921 - June 5, 2013
Hilda Bernice Faulkner Browne was born March 25, 1921, in Athens, AL and passed away peacefully on June 5, 2013, in Provo, Utah. Her life centered around her family and her faith which gave her the greatest joy. Hilda is the mother of five children, seventeen grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. She enjoyed travelling, camping, reading, and being with her family. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was most grateful for her testimony of the gospel and of her temple blessings. She had travelled all over the world, written the book, “The Michigan Mormons” and spent many days in her camper with her dear husband, Roger. Hilda is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger John Browne, Jr. and her dear parents, Robert and Ida Mae Faulkner. She is survived by her five children: Linda Rosen, Kathryn Humberstone, Andrea GoodHeart, Merrilee Boyack, and Roger “Chip” John Browne, III. Hilda Browne is now dancing in Heaven with her husband and love, Roger, to the great big band tunes they so loved. She will be missed but we find joy in her reunion. Graveside Services will be held for close friends and family Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, 4800 North 650 East, Provo, UT. Donations may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary Fund in her memory. Funeral Directors: Utah Valley Mortuary.
