Isaac Cruz Gonzalez

May 30, 1957 - May 9, 2022

Isaac Gonzalez Cruz “Chaqui”, born May 30, 1957, in Tijuana, Baja California finished the race on May 9, 2022. Isaac was a loving husband, father, and brother who continually sacrificed all he could for his family. Isaac was energetic, full of life, hard working, and had a smile that could light up a room. He was very charismatic and always found a way to make friends, even in the most unlikely of places and situations. He was a true “Man of God”. His faithfulness and devotion to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, were admired by many. Isaac loved music and playing drums was one of his favorite past times. While attending Bible College (La Nueva Esperanza), he had the opportunity to bless many with his musical talent. He even went on to record multiple albums with his christian band, “El Grupo La Fe.” He was a pioneer and played a part in laying the framework for many Spanish christian artists that would come after him. Isaac loved to serve. Whether it was helping with construction projects, cleaning after events, teaching a lesson, or preaching God’s word, Isaac was always ready to serve within his church. He epitomized the heart of a Servant Leader. He would also always worry about the church members and would joyfully call them when they would miss to see how they were. Even in his last moments, his joy was found in serving God and others. Isaac married the love of his life, Eunice Gonzalez, on April 12, 1986 and they celebrated 36 wonderful years of marriage. They raised three beautiful children who now carry on his legacy of faith, sacrifice, and love. Isaac also had such a heart for his companion dog “Sammy” who is now resting along his side. Isaac is survived by his 2 sons and 1 daughter, Isaac Gonzalez Jr., Joel Gonzalez, and Yajaira Gonzalez. He is also survived by his 7 sisters, and 5 brothers, Elizabeth, Miriam, Raquel, Abigail, Guadalupe, Tamaris, Rut, Ramon, Juan, Tranquilino (Franky), Ruben, and Josue. ________________________ Isaac Gonzalez Cruz “Chaqui”, nació Mayo 30 de 1957 en Tijuana, Baja California y termino la carrera Mayo 9 del 2022.
