Jackson Robert Buhler
April 14, 2016 - February 16, 2020
In the nearly-four years in our care, Jackson Robert Buhler touched so many lives. His endless energy and smile warmed every room and heart that he encountered. He loved to explore and collect, giving homes to innumerable rocks, sunflower seeds, worms and pine-cones. He loved all of God’s creations—from feeding his puppies and ponies to maintaining several bird-feeders to visiting the sharks and turtles at the aquarium. If possible, he loved his family more. He was a devoted big-brother and he adored his parents, grandparents, cousins, and more. Jackson found joy in everything. He refused to allow anyone around him to be sad. He was known for holding his friends’ hands while they were in time-out, even when they were unkind. He loved to build, and loved to watch others build for him. He was learning puzzles and patterns and loved to play with his legos and marbles. He was a brilliant, inquisitive boy who loved to learn and to share his learning with those around him. He always involved others in his fun, regularly demanding games of catch, or tackle, or building and knocking down towers. Jackson passed away on Sunday, February 16 following a brief but intense battle with illness. He is missed by his family—and so many others—but has been reunited with his Papa, and a sibling he never had the chance to meet, and others who have gone before. We are so very grateful for the blessing that he has been in our lives. We know that we will be reunited with him some day, but for now we look forward to celebrating his life with those who can join us. We will have a viewing Friday evening, February 21st, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the chapel located at 2742 West 14400 South, Bluffdale, UT. Saturday, we will gather together again with a brief viewing from 2:00-2:30 pm, followed by a family prayer and a celebration from 3:00-4:00 pm. Jackson will be laid to rest in the Lehi Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Utah Valley Mortuary.
