He was a self- taught guitar player from the age of 9. He wrote music, taught others and played often for his family. One of his deepest passions was to connect with and to serve others through music. He loved being around his family more than anything. He had a passion for watching his children and grandchildren play basketball and other sports and activities they were involved in. He was also a black belt in karate and loved martial arts! John had a special way of connecting with people. With his boldness, realness and unconditional love he always made people feel loved, special, and included and was so generous to everyone!!!
