Kevin Lyndon Call
March 18, 1976 - May 4, 2014
We are heartbroken that Lyndon, 38, has lost a long and courageous battle with cancer, but take comfort in knowing he is at peace now, and we will be with him again. Lyndon was born on March 18, 1976 in Provo Utah, to Kevin Hugh and Marva Barrett Call. He was the oldest of four boys, and grew up in Wheeling, IL where he made many friends and especially enjoyed playing high school football. Lyndon served an LDS mission in Neuquen, Argentina, and he fondly recalls those years as some of the hardest and happiest days of his life. He attended Brigham Young University and received his Bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2001, and earned his CPA shortly thereafter. He married Lisa Catherine Porter for time and all eternity on November 26, 2004 in the LDS Laie, Hawaii Temple. They resided in Southern California for the past 12 years, and recently relocated to Provo, Utah to be near family. One of Lyndon’s greatest attributes was his dedicated work ethic, and he enjoyed a successful career in accounting and finance. Lyndon and Lisa were blessed with two daughters, Addison Elle (6) and Olivia Catherine (3), and his little girls were truly his pride and joy. Lyndon always had a great sense of humor and quick wit, and was very generous with all that knew him, especially his family. He is survived by his wife Lisa Call, daughters Addison and Olivia Call, parents Kevin Call (Centennial, CO), and Marva Call-Lulloff (Santa Maria, CA), brothers Kasey Call (Platte City, MO), Ryan Call (Olathe, KS), and Andrew Call (Centennial, CO), and loving in laws, nieces and nephews. The family wishes to sincerely thank the many people who have shown them love and service over the last three years, they are truly grateful. They also wish to extend a special thank you to the Intermountain Hospice team, and especially Marie Blacker, who has cared for Lyndon for the last 6 months. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 9th, 2014 at 11:00 am at the LDS Meadow Wood Ward building at 303 West 3700 North Provo, Utah. A viewing will be held that morning, at 10:00 am in the Relief Society room of the church building. The burial will be immediately after the service at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Salt Lake City, located at 3401 South and Highland Drive. In lieu of flowers, Lyndon would prefer a donation be made to a college fund for Addison and Olivia Call; donations can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank to the ‘Lyndon Call Memorial Fund.’ Funeral Directors: Utah Valley Mortuary.
