"KC" Kim Calvin Hansen

December 13, 1990 - January 20, 2022

Kim Calvin “KC” Hansen, 31, passed away on January 20, 2022, from complications of myotonic dystrophy, a rare genetic disease. KC was born December 13, 1990, in Price, Utah, the second of three children of Kelley G Hansen and Lisa Elaine Borget Hansen. Kelley passed away with myotonic dystrophy in 2004, and Lisa married Cliff Hunsaker in 2005. In the Hunsaker family, KC gained four step-siblings and got along well with them. KC was always especially close to his mother, and their relationship was an inspiration to those around them. When Lisa could no longer drive because of the effects of multiple sclerosis, KC took her everywhere. He graduated from American Fork High School and participated in a service mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. KC was known for his love of video games. He enjoyed them all and was good at playing them. He also enjoyed Disney movies and anime. He was a true kid at heart. He was an easygoing, calm, and quiet man of few words. He had a heart of gold and loved everyone unconditionally. KC is survived by his siblings: Kira (James) Morris and Kaia Hansen; his stepsiblings: Taylor Hunsaker, Timmy Hunsaker, Larissa Hunsaker, and Shareen Hunsaker; his step-father, Cliff Hunsaker; and his grandparents: Shirley Hansen Blackburn (Geb) Robinson, and David and Darlene Borget. KC was preceded in death by his parents; his grandfathers: Cal Hansen and Ferr Blackburn; and three uncles: Kirk Hansen, Kolynn Hansen, and Garth Blackburn. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 26th, at Utah Valley Mortuary, 1966 West 700 North, Lindon, Utah from 9:15 to 10:00 am with the Funeral Services to follow at 10:00 am.
