Linda Andersen

March 27, 1950 - February 15, 2018

Linda Louise Moore Andersen 67, passed away peacefully with complications from kidney failure on Thursday, February 15, 2018. Linda was born March 27, 1950 in Los Angeles, CA to Cecil and Vondora Moore. She is the fourth of five children. She grew up in Southern California. She married Gary Parsons. Together they had Cindy and David; and later divorced. She then moved to Enterprise, UT and met her future husband, Lynn Andersen who had four children (Kurt, Scott, Sheryl and Susan). Together they had Lisa, Terry and Matt. In Enterprise she taught dance, gymnastics and aerobics besides being a mother to nine children. After Matt was in school, Linda finished her GED and later received a degree in Accounting. It bothered Linda that she hadn’t graduated from high school. She knew how important education was and wanted to set an example. In 1985 they moved to Orem, Utah. She has always been active in the LDS Church and served in the Relief Society, Primary and Young Women’s presidencies. She loved working in the temple but had to stop because of health issues but kept working at the family history until the last two weeks of her life. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She would do anything for them and did so much for everyone. She loved playing cards and bunko with them as well as traveling and attending family gatherings. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gerald; sons, Kurt and Scott. She is survived by her husband, Lynn; children, Sheryl (Hal), Cindy (Dave), Susan, David (Nickole), Lisa, Terry (Julia), Matt (Susan); brothers, Gary and Lynn; sister, Bonnie.
