CHANGES TO SERVICE INFORMATION! Michael Wilbur Clouse, 71, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020, after a brief illness. Michael was born September 26, 1948 to Charles Maxwell Clouse and Harriet Marie Elizabeth Barnes in Huntington Park, California, and was the oldest of two children. He married Wanda Lynn Cashin on October 9, 1987. Over the years they were the proud parents of many dogs, and Mike was often accompanied by his latest puppy. Mike graduated from El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera, California, and served in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1971, as a parachute rigger on the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea. He worked for the City of Los Angeles for thirty years as a Recreation and Parks Supervisor. Upon retirement, he and Wanda relocated to Eagle Mountain where they became members of the Sixth Ward. Mike was an avid outdoorsman and embraced everything to do with hunting and camping. He hunted upland game at Wasatch Bird and Clay, but also enjoyed fishing. He worked with Boy Scout Troop #1008, teaching the scouts hunter safety, archery, rife, shotgun, and fishing. He was a skilled cook, enjoyed entertaining, and loved sharing his fried chicken and barbecue. He is survived by his wife Wanda, mother Harriet, sister Claudia (Michael) Kennedy, son Michael (Cynthia) Clouse, daughter Carrie Lott, and grandchildren Emily Clouse, Riley Lott, and Lily Lott. He was preceded in death by his father Charles. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 19th, at 11:30am, at tUtah Valley Mortuary, 1966 W 700 North, Lindon, Utah where a Viewing will be held prior to services from 10:00am to 11:15am. Interment will be at a later date in Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, Camarillo, California. Military Honors rendered by the United States Navy. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Ducks Unlimited at www.ducks.org.
