Preston Larsen
September 19, 1989 - July 1, 2021
Preston Curt Larsen, beloved friend, brother, and son, passed away on the evening of Thursday, July 1st, in the ICU at the Utah Valley Hospital due to complications with pneumonia. His loving mother, Robin, stayed by his side and kept her family informed as he passed. Preston graduated from Provo High School in 2008 where he excelled at his art and creative courses. In 2010, he was accepted to a Computer Graphic Design program. While studying his passions, he made his way onto the Dean’s List for the majority of the program and graduated with honors in 2012. His creative talents in sketching, ceramics, illustration, and graphic design were impressive and compelling. Throughout Preston’s life, his art has filled our home with warmth and happiness. He always had a suggestion of movies, games, artists, and songs whenever we wanted or when he thought we needed it. We see Preston’s kind, gentle, creative, warm-hearted, and thoughtful personality as attributes of his unique gift of autism. In this life, few of us were lucky enough to hear him share about his passions and dreams. When he did speak, it was with conviction and intelligence. Preston’s pranks and jokes were frequent at home as he had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. We pray that in heaven others are finally able to understand him and enjoy the light he has shared with those he loves. We invite all who can to celebrate his life with us on Saturday, July 10th, at 11:00 am at the Oak Hills Stake Center, 925 E. North Temple Drive. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 am. He will be buried with his late elder brother, Camren at the Spanish Fork Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah. We will dedicate the grave following the funeral service with a procession driving through Springville. In lieu of flowers, donations to help pay funeral costs can be donated to Preston’s mother Robin’s venmo: robin-lott-1 Funeral Directors: Utah Valley Mortuary
