Scott Wade Peterson

September 19, 1978 - December 30, 2020

Scott Wade Peterson, age 42, of Orem, Utah, returned to his Heavenly Father on December 30, 2020. Scott was born September 19, 1978, in American Fork to Ronald James and Karen Child Peterson and was raised in Orem, Utah. Scott attended Mountain View High School. He married Alisa Clements on April 2, 2009. Scott was a skilled craftsman. He worked along side his wife, Alisa, for their company “Now You See It, Now You Don't” doing wood touch-up in many places, including the State Capitol, several temples including one of their favorites, the Provo City Center Temple, the Four Seasons in Jackson Hole, to name a few. He was very proud of the work they did. Scott's latest accomplishment, which is still on display at his most recent employer, The Montage in Deer Valley, was a replica of the McPolin Farmstead in Park City, Utah, decorated with candy and icing. Scott was always a very generous and kind person. He was always the first one to say “I love you” when we would talk to him. He would give the shirt off his back (and everything else he owned) to help someone in need. Scott was also a very patriotic person who loved his country. Some of Scott's favorite things included spending time with his grand-daughter Riley, watching BYU football with his dad, Chicago Bears, Pink Floyd, bowling, flying drones, and Mountain Dew. Scott was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A time in his life when he was most happy was when he and Alisa were sealed together in the Salt Lake City Temple. Scott is survived by his daughter, Rhianna Clements; grand-daughter Riley Sutton; parents, Ron and Karen Peterson and siblings, Shauna Beck (Steve), Lori Preston (Bart), and Lance Peterson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Scott was preceded in death by his loving wife Alisa who passed away June 25, 2020 and his grandparents, Leon Mark and Wanda Child and Vernon J. and Nadine Peterson. Dear Scott, in the words of Pink Floyd...“Wish you were here!” Private family graveside services will be held. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance will be by invitation.
