Susan Tucker

January 6, 1949 - November 22, 2014

After a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer, our beloved wife, Mother, and Grandma, Susan Morley Tucker, 65, passed peacefully into Eternity. She is survived by her husband, Tom, and her children: Tammi and Thayne Odell, Timothy and Jocelyn, Thad and Jenny, Taylor and Nancy, Travis and Jessica, and Tyson and Katie Tucker. She is also survived by her siblings Shirley and Geb Robinson, Dick and Diane, Ray and Sandy, Carl and Bette and Scott and Sharon Morley. She was preceded in death by her Father, Gerald Blackham Morley, her mother Rose Woodbury Morley and her son Todd Morley Prince. She was beloved by her eighteen Grandchildren. Coming to see Grandma was always a treat for her Grandchildren. Sue was born January 6, 1949 in Price, Utah, where she spent her childhood and formative years. Her cheerful, outgoing personality made her popular with her peers. She was active in church and served on the seminary council. She was also active in school politics, 4H, various committees, Girls State, and was senior class president of Carbon High School in Price, Utah. Sue was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints her entire life. She served in many church positions; Relief Society president, Primary president, and as counselor to several Ward and Stake presidencies. She also taught Sunday School, Temple Prep, and Marriage classes. Her Church service and service to her family was tireless and selfless. Her primary goals in life were to have a happy eternal family, to please her Heavenly Father, bring His love to others and help them feel His Spirit. Sue was a woman with many talents. Besides being an excellent teacher, she was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed crafts and scrapbooking. She created detailed life books for each of her six children. She loved birthday and Christmas shopping for her children and grandchildren. Every member of her family looked forward to her thoughtful, personalized 12 days of Christmas gifts. For many years, her family has enjoyed her culinary expertise. Her pies and desserts were legendary. She will be missed, but the love she had for her family and those who had the privilege to know her will be felt through the ripples of eternity. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 29th, at 11:00 am, at Aspen 6th Ward, 1546 North 1100 West, Orem, Utah, where a Visitation will be held prior from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
