Glen LeRoye Olsen
June 5, 1939 - April 27, 2020
Glen LeRoye Olsen, 80, passed away April 27, 2020 peacefully in his sleep. Glen was born June 5, 1939 in Provo, Utah to Rodney Glen and Thelma Luceal Olsen. He was the fourth of six children. Glen was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing. Our vacations usually consisted of camping trips and the deer hunt. He was also an amazing cook. Glen was known for being a jack of all trades, there was nothing he couldn’t do. He would figure it out, no YouTube needed. He taught his kids to have an amazing work ethic. Work before fun. We spent most weekends as a family helping others. Glen married Betty Jean Hopkins in October 1973 and together they raised their four children. Glen is survived by two sisters, Dorthy and Barbara; his four children, Heather Frandsen (Tomy), Martin (Sheila) Pace, Becky (David) Madsen and Misty (Nate) Caldwell; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rodney and Thelma; brothers, Edward and Stan; sister, Colleen and aunts & uncles. A private Family Graveside will be held on Friday, May 1st at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Utah Valley Mortuary.
