Heidi Maxine Bruner

August 10, 1963 - May 20, 2021

Heidi Maxine Bruner was born August 10, 1963, the daughter of Cheryl Lee Hansen (Douglass) and Douglas Wayne Barlow. She was the second of five children, Douglas Todd Barlow, Shane Duke Barlow, Jade Brian Barlow, and Cherie Elizabeth Barlow (Cole). Heidi married Deryle Paul Weddle and together they had 2 children, Desirae Lee Weddle and Devin Paul Weddle. She married her second husband Joseph Edward Bruner in 1986 and together they had one daughter, Taleah Marie Bruner (Torres). Heidi and Joe were separated for several years but maintained a friendship and always did what they could to support each other and their children together. Heidi trained and worked as a dental assistant for several years. For a time, she worked doing IT Tech support for Packard Bell. She was a driver for Pony Express. Her most rewarding work were the years she worked for SORB in Oregon helping disabled kids and adults. In 1986 Heidi started a lifelong walk with God. She was a strong believer in Christianity and shared that with many people that found God thanks to her. She was always happy to share what she knew about the bible and was involved in many different bible studies and churches throughout the years. Heidi was a beautiful soul and a very loving mother to her 3 children, she was also "Mom" to many kids and teenagers that needed that that mother figure in their lives. Many of the neighborhood kids, her children’s friends and her nieces called her Mom. Heidi always taught her kids to stick together. To be kind. To give to those less fortunate. She was the kind of person that would give her last $5 to someone that needed it more than she did. She never sent her children to bed, said goodbye, or hung up the phone without saying "I love you" and hugging and kissing them. Even during their toughest financial times Heidi never let her kids go without. Although they may have not always had everything they wanted, not one of them ever went without everything they needed. She always made sure everyone else was taken care of before caring for herself. Heidi loved everyone and was very loved in return. Each one of her siblings were very special to her. One of her favorite things in life was being a grandmother to Leo, Javonie, Sofia, Alexzander, Mason, Darrin, and Nikolai. She loved everyone unconditionally. She was always willing to talk, listen, or help in any way she could. Heidi touched many hearts and will be so very missed.
