Robin Reid

October 5, 1946 - December 16, 2014

Robin Reid, beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at home after a massive stroke, on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at the age of 68. Robin was born October 5, 1946 in San Rafael, CA to Eldon Stringham and Elayne Warnock Reid. Her childhood was filled with the love of a large family. When Robin became a mother her whole world became her children and then her grandchildren. She finished her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphics Arts at San Jose State to be a good example to her family. Getting her teaching degree and working as an art teacher were high on her list of joyous accomplishments. She enjoyed attending the activities of her grandchildren. She attended their sport and school events, traveling long distances to attend school graduations and mission farewells. Every Christmas she made pajamas for each of her grandchildren. Robin was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in Young Womens, as a Visiting Teacher and as a Relief Society Secretary. Robin is survived by her sister Pauline and Donald Jones, brother Nick and Val Reid, brother Rollie and Nan Reid, Sister SuLin and Rex Nelson and sister Maren Reid, Daughter Kymberlie and Len ReidReynoso, grandchildren Tarl (and Caroline), Drake, Jodi, Logan, Brandon. Daughter Kari and Tim Hellbusch, grandchildren Jaxson, Hanna, Morgan, Ryanne, Emmalyne, and Hazel Daughter Kati and Scott Alger, grandchildren Savannah, Avery, Samuel and Brooke Son Jason Dyckman Preceded in death by her parents Eldon S. and Elayne W. Reid, her brother Eldon LeRoy Reid and her sister Roxanne Merrill. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 19 from 1-3 PM at 10351 Bayhill Drive, Cedar Hills, UT. A graveside service will follow at the Highland City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Irvin L. Warnock Scholarship Fund c/o Arda Jean Christensen, 1630 E. Olive Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84124. Funeral Directions: Utah Valley Mortuary.
